The College has high standards supported by its extremely professional and well-qualified coaches. It is important that students, coaches and spectators enhance the College’s good reputation and reflect its commitment to its students and the community. This Code of Conduct has been drawn up in order to facilitate this and to ensure fairness for staff and students. The conduct of all teams and individuals should at all times reflect the Glenfield Way, which Glenfield College has adopted.
Resilience, Pride, Respect, Self-Managing, Aspirational, Integrity, Service & Adventurous
There is an expectation that the guiding values for the college will be embodied in codes of fair play for all teams as follows
Students: Code of Conduct

We at our school agree that when playing a sport we will:
-
Work equally hard for yourself and for your team. Your team’s performance will benefit and so will you
-
Play within the rules and be a good sport. Acknowledge all good play whether from your team or your opponents
-
Be a good role model. You are representing Glenfield College
-
Respect the opposition and their supporters
-
Play for the enjoyment of your chosen Sport. Be gracious winners and dignified losers
-
Compete, Play Hard, Play Fair
-
Communicate when you are not available, the key to a successful team is ‘Communication’ and ‘Commitment’, a team requires players to attend practice/games.
-
Always wear the correct Glenfield College, playing and practising uniform
-
No bad or offensive language is allowed.
-
Barracking should be positive (supporting the team) NOT NEGATIVE (abusing opposition, teammates or officials)
