World Champion Team to Compete in the US
GCEC 2918 is off to the VEX Robotics World Championships. On 15 April our High School Excellence World Champions are off to Louisville Kentucky to defend their title. We are taking with us an extra team which also qualified at the New Zealand VEX Robotics National Championships held at the end of February. NZ is sending 9 secondary school teams in total of which 2 are from Glenfield College.
As last years Excellence Award winners our students have been asked to give a speech at the Champions dinner on the Friday night. Their speech will be presented to 120 guests whom will include Presidents of VEX Robotics and RCEF, and heads of major sponsors such as the US Army, NASA, Autodesk, SMC etc. I am sure they will represent Glenfield College with distinction on this amazing evening.
Our Teams are:
2918A Jason Collingwood and Levi Chapman
2918E Hemant Toora and Adam Macintrye
