Cross Country Runners braved the conditions, producing excellent results
The Glenfield College annual Cross Country Championship was help this week on a wet and wild Thursday, despite blustery showers throughout the day the weather held up for the majority of runners to complete the route dry. The event was organised by the L3 PE Leadership class with the assistance of the PE and Sports departments, special thanks to Mr Graham and Mr Kingston for their assistance and advice with the set-up, pack down and the running of the event.
Although conditions were very wet under foot there were some excellent performances on the day and the spirit and attitude of all runners was one of positivity and encouragement. Congratulations to all participants and in particular the winners of each age group. The top 20 from each age group are listed below.
